Summer Fun!
We have been having a lot of fun this summer! Especially at the Splash Pad.
The kids were so scared of these things in the beginning, but after a lot of urging from mom and dad they have quickly become pros.
Super Cutie!!!!!!!
We went back a few days later with Grandma and Grandpa and Auntie Melany.
These pictures started out with Ayo trying to push Auntie Melany into the water, BACKFIRE!
This is the fire on Mt. Charleston the night we were at the park.
Addy took his first bike ride on the back of my bike, no pictures because it was just me and the kids and I was pedaling, he did great, just started screaming because his helmet is to big and kept falling in his face.
LOTS of bike riding also!
That's how we roll :)

Independence Day!
We headed out to Boulder City in the morning for the parade. We really had a lot of fun and the kids had a blast. Addy met his first clown and wasnt phased one bit.
After the parade we headed to McD's for some morning ice cream cones :)
We made fourth of July shirts with the kids handprints painted like flags.
After the parade we headed home and watched Independence Day (of course) and had a great BBQ, then headed back to Coulder City for the fireworks show. It was gorgeous outside and we got a great parking spot right next to the park. The kids love running on the hill, and the fireworks show was awesome.
This face pretty much sums up how Addy felt about the fireworks. He didnt cry, he would grab on tight to us and rest his head on our shoulder but the whole time be peeking at the fireworks.
Ayo informed me that because he is 6 now he didn't need his earplug headphone things. I told him even at six it is okay to wear them. 2 seconds into the show they were on, glad he isn't growing up to fast.
It was a great day filled with family and fun. So grateful for the freedoms we enjoy in this country.
To quote a favorite verse in the Star Spangled Banner
"Oh! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved home and the war's desolation!
Blest with victory and peace, may the heav'n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust."
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!"
More Birthday
A few days after his Birthday we had my parents and sister over for a little party. My parents take the kids on a date for their birthdays to pick out a toy from toys r us and then to Yogurtland. The kids love it!
