Kids Festival

On Saturday we took the kids to this kids Festival they had at the Towns Square. It was a blast, the kids loved running in the water (it was so freakin HOT). Samarrah got a flower balloon, and they both sat still long enough to get their faces painted it was such a fun time. There are always fun things to do here, and most of all it wore out the kids so we were ALL able to take naps when we got home. I was a great family Saturday.

Playtime with Daddy

Samarrah loves to "Type" on her computer while daddy types on his

They love to play with their daddy, He is the best daddy in the WORLD!

A Beautiful Spirit

So it is not the best picture, but that is our samarrah looking out the window at Lucky our family dog who was 16 years old. He was put to sleep on Tuesday. He was an amazing dog. When I told Samarrah that next time we go to Grandma and Grandpa's house Lucky will not be there. She wanted to know where he went, and i told her that he went to go live with Jesus. As I was holding back tears, she surprised me in the way only a two year can, she got very excited and said, "Lucky playing at the park with Jesus" I told her yes, and she was so excited and proceeded to tell her daddy and brother. Lucky will definetly be missed. What a beautiful spirit Samarrah has. She has such a great love and understanding of our Savior.

Ayo's First Birthday

See how far Ayo has come, I cannot believe he is one. He is the happiest little boy. He brings so much joy to our lives, he loves trucks and balls, and he absolutely adores his big sister. We are so proud of him, and all the little milestones he has reached, he is so close to walking and we know once he can he will be running. He is the greatest little boy we could ever ask for. Happy Birthday Ayo We love you sooooooooooooooooo much.

Buy of the Year!!!

So this is the buy of the year. I was at K Mart looking for birthday presents for Ayo (His birthday is tomorrow). and I walked past this bed regular price 230.00 for the headboard and footboard. It was on sale for.......22.99. I couldn't believe it, I snatched one up, and two for my moms friends. We fell so cool, that we finally have an "Adult" bed. And of course it is nothing compared to the beautiful quilt my mom made for us. So always keep your eyes open, cause you never know when you'll find that "Buy of the Year".

Happy Fathers Day

Happy Fathers Day to Grandpa, my amazing Dad, Tyler, and my husband, I could not ask for a better father for our children.
We were all able to spend an amazing day together in honor of our fathers-grandfathers-brothers-and husbands.

Congratulations Melany

CONGRATULATIONS Melany on your (gradumacation :)) graduation from High School.
the whole fam came out for the joyous event!
Seeing Melany graduate reminded me of how far I have come in the last six years. (Yes it has been six years) Here is my journey.
After high school I went to BYU-Idaho and made some life long friends.
Through a series of random events I met an amazing man and we were engaged in Hawaii August of 2004
December 31, 2004 we were married in the Las Vegas Temple for all eternity. 3 days after we were married we headed off the Hawaii, not for a honeymoon, but to live for 16 months. Living at BYU-Hawaii was the most amazing experience. I made friends with people from every country you can think of, and probably some you have never heard of.
In February of 2006 I was blessed to become a mother to beautiful Samarrah. She was born in Hawaii and has the island spirit in her. She is my greatest example, and lots of times my bestest friend.
After moving from Hawaii we found ourselves in St. George. We were suprised to find that we were expecting again, and became the proud parents of Ayo (pronounced I-O). His name translated means Joy in Prince's language, Yoruba. It must have been fate that we named him that because he is pure joy. Looking over the past six years I can't believe I am where I am, but wouldn't want it any other way. I have been blessed beyond anything I could have ever hoped for.
