Dad's Birthday

For Dad's birthday we went hiking at Snow Canyon State Park. We had a blast hiking with the kids and teaching them how to throw rocks down the hill. Then the boys watched football while the kids napped and the girls of course went to Tai Pan! We went swimming and got out of the water right before a freak thunderstorm came it was tons of fun!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD! We love you SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much. I am the luckiest girl to have the greatest Dad!!!

Family Picnic for FHE

We had our first family picnic last week for FHE at the park and I was able to get some cute pictures of the kids while we were there. It was a blast!




We are trainging Samarrah for the Olympics, she loves watching Gymnastics and was swinging herself back and forth it was really cool. (So for the Chinese age three is a good time to start training so we are six months early:) )

First Hair Cut

So it took me 13 months to finally break down and cut Ayo's hair. It was definetly needed his hair was out of control to say the least. Now he looks so handsome and his hats will actually fit.

Girls Weekend

So a few months ago, I thought maybe me and my mom and sisters could have a girls weekend before Melany went to school, but mom and dad gave us the bet girls weekend EVER. On Friday night my dad surprised us with tickets to see The Phantom of the Opera at the Venetian. So Phantom has never really been my thing, but I am in LOVE with the play, it was the most AMAZING thing I have ever seen. We were in the seventh row in the center. Then on Saturday we spent three hours at Deseret Industries trying on anything and everything. We found the cutest things (we have decided the DI trip will become an annual thing during girls weekend). It was so much fun! How lucky I am to have such an amazing family. It was the best start to a great tradition.

Washington county Fair

Tonight was the first time our family has gone to the County Fair, and considering Samarrah would not go on a carousel a few months ago, we were so proud of her going on all the rides. After she would get off of one she would say "WE go on another one" She loved it. Ayo got to go on some rides too, and had a great time. It was so much fun. It's always great to see your children experience something new and LOVE it. Enjoy all of their new experiences!

Moms Rule!

So normally I would feel guilty for not spotlighting my beautiful children, but this women is amazing. Being a mother I understand how your whole life is given to your children, for me that has always been my dream to be a wife and a mother, and I am already a winner because of the beautiful children I get to live with every day, but I also understand that there are so many women out there who have amazing dreams that they sometimes feel thay cannot achieve, because they have kids, are to old, or may not look like every women on a magazine cover...etc. Melissa Lawson has proven that it does not matter how many kids you have, how old you are, or what you look like (she has lost 70 lbs. so far on the show) Tonight she won Nashville Star. Me and Prince Have religiously voted for her, and we never vote for any other show. I have never seen my husband jump so high when she won, (not even during a Lakers game :)) She is a mother of 5 boys all under the age of 10, and has an INCREDIBLE voice. So for all you women and mothers out there you can achieve and dream you want. Remember shoot for the moon, even if you miss you'll land among the stars
