Family Reunion Part 3: Adventures!!!

We had a lot of fun adventures in Colorado! All ready for a fun day!!!
We headed to the Arkansas River to do a little walking on the path, but we were greeted with A LOT of mud for rain the night before. We didn't let that stop us from having fun though.
\ We found a snake in the mud.
Addy and the snake.
Love these Kiddos!!!
Grandma and Grandpa and all the Grandkids.
There were lizards everywhere! Prince was sneaky enough to catch one.
The whole Gang!
Smores!!!
I got the kids real big Lollipops in Peublo, they still haven't finished them :)
The next day we headed out to Lake Isabelle. Ayo was so brave catching a worm.
We rented a paddleboat and a rowboat and had a lot of fun
Despite how the picture looks, Addy really liked the paddleboat.
We did a little fishing, we didn't catch anything, but Ayo seemed to enjoy it. Prince was ready to jump in and grab some fish with his hands, not a patient fisherman.
After the Lake we headed to a man made castle in the mountains. It is really freaky to walk in. The spaces are small and very high.
It is much higher than it looks. That is our car over Ayo's shoulder!
Samarrah and ayo were so brave, I was so proud of them. I just put my head down as we were walking up all of these circular staircases and made it with them.
So many amazing memories!

Family Reunion Part 2: First Day Fun

Day two we made it to my Aunt's 80 acre property. It was heaven for my children. They ran and rode bikes, played baseball, ran some more, flew kites, rode bikes again, and met the horses. It was perfect. If I could live that far away from a grocery store and a Target I totally would.
Aunt Sue took us on a wild and crazy ride in the back o her truck. It was a blast.
I love this picture of my boys.
Getting in touch with his inner "hick".
All wiped out from a great day!!!

Family Reunion part 1: Getting There

Our family reunion was in Pueblo CO. Our first day we drove from Las Vegas to ABQ, New Mexico. It was a fun drive through Arizona, at the last minute we decided to make a 4 hour detour to go see the Grand Canyon. It was so worth it! The kids were so excited and had been talking for weeks about seeing their cousins.
Addy was better than I had hoped considering the two day drive there, all the driving we did once we were there, and the 14 hour drive home. He was a trooper.
This was our view on the way there. We followed behind my parents :)
At the Grand Canyon there were a ton of Europeans, one lady stopped and commented on Addy's cute trousers, Love it!
THe Grand Canyon! It is an amazing sight to see! So beautiful, so glad I was able to share it with my family! While in some of these pictures we look mighty close to the edge, we never were close, I was a crazy person making sure no one was going close to the edge.
My mom and dad pretty much rock. They are amazing parents, but also they are amazing people!
Addy had to have his Lion King moment! Pretty sure there was a rousing chorus of THe Circle of Life :)
Such a happy Traveler!
Our second day was a short trip from ABQ to Pueblo. The clouds were amazing, since it was flat it felt like you could reach up and touch them. The kids did great, the adults did great, it was a successful journey!
