Me and my mom and Sister did a 25 mile bike ride out by Red Rock to benefit the Special Olympics. It was a lot of fun to do.
The kids love cheering us on because it almost always means they get to stick their heads out of grandpas sunroof.
My Favorite cheering section (minus my dad who isn't in the picture) they come to all of our rides and cheer for us. I could not do it without their support.
Future bikers hopefully!
October first we celebrated Nigerian Independence day/Prince's 1 year anniversary of being a citizen by going to his (and mine, and Samarrah's and Ayo's) favorite place, Steak n Shake. Can't believe it has been a year. His naturalization ceremony was one of the most beautiful things I have been to, I think if every citizen in this country would be more grateful for where they live.
At the beginning of October we had my family over for dinner. I had bought a bumblebee and Optimus costume for Ayo so the kids decided to wear them and go after Sentinel Prime (Grandpa). They had a good shot at winning until Grandpa stole the spray bottle from Ayo and we all ended up wet. The LOVE going after Grandpa.
Don't the look so tough?
:)
