A Whole lot of us!!!

First and foremost I have to wish my hubby a happy Birthday! He is the best husband and friend I could ever ask for! Love you tons babe!!!!
His UNLV cake I made for him.

Eating his birthday ice cream with the kids at red robin.

So we are in the process of moving, and lots of other things that we decided to do at the same time we are moving, not the best idea, but we have been really busy so I took some time thw other day to take the kids to the river downtown and try out their new swimsuits. It was a blast.

Last weekend we headed up to conference again, and 30 minutes north of saint George we hit snow, and it did not stop until we made it to Provo, it was insane! We had a great time at conference and enjoyed the cold weather. Here are some picks from the weekend!

This was the view from our hotel room, The mountains were covered with snow when we arrived and all the snow had melted by the time we left.

2 weeks ago we went to vegas to spend a few days with my brother and his family visiting from WA. It was so much fun to see them and have the kids spend time with Isabelle. She is the cutest! and of course all of the girls hit DI and goodwill, we found some great things and had a blast together. Love you guys!!!

The Shizzle on the Dizzle!

Yea! pictures and lots of them. A little bit of what we have been up to!
Samarrah and Ayo have those great moments where they are all cuddles and kisses, so I hurried and grabbed the camera to document it

Another park adventure at a new park we found near our home. It is pretty retro, it has lots of fun stuff, but was a little advanced for our little ones, but they still had tons of fun!

So here are a few things that I have been up to, I had to take a picture of all of Samarrah's bows and clips. I think I am addicted, I made all but one of those. I feel the need to make a new one for every new outfit, holiday, etc.....

So I am by no means a seamstress, but I enjoy sewing with my limited skills, and enjoy a project that only takes a few hours, I usually do all of my sewing during naptime. this skirt I made for Samarrah is so easy. Here is the site

This sundress I made took about an hour, and it is sooo cute on a little girl, the top of the dress is held by the bow, but projects together tok only two yards of fabric, I just switched them for each project. She looks so cute n this fun dress, here is the site...http://habitual.files.wordpress.com/2008/09/habitual_simplesundress.pdf

Of course I did not want Ayo to feel left out so I made him a cape out of some extra fabric I had, he loves wearing it and running around the table it is so cute!!!

So my photography does not do justice to these fun things, sorry! We are hanging in there, waiting to hear back from schools, and planning our near future! Hope everyone is doing great and staying POSITIVE! that's all we can do, right?

What we've been up to!

Having tons of fun with these crazy kiddies!

Riding bikes! They love to ride there bikes down the sidewalk right into the wall, and then they just stay there togethre, it is really cute!

I have been honing my coupon skill and got all of these groceries for 10.41, a savings of 45.50. I think I am addicted!

I made these cute travel wipe cases!

Made the matching diaper caddy bags. You can fit a few diapers and a travel wipe case in them and it is really nice when you don't carry a diaper bag anymore.

i made this cute little shirt for Samarrah.

and of course some chocolate! Chocolate caramel chex mix!

Pay It Forward

"The first 3 people to leave a comment on this post will receive a handmade (or possibly store-bought) gift from me during this year. When and what will be a surprise. There's a small catch though...Post this same thing on your own blog and then come back and leave a comment telling me you're in. Remember, only the first 3 comments receive the gift!"

Love is in the air

A little love report from our family!
We had a great relaxing valentines day. I made little pouches for the kids to tie to the back of the chairs and put little dollar store treats in, but there favorite were their balloon I got them from the dollar store. (they have great mylar balloons for a dollar, that store is an addiction!)

We went and played some tennis, it was really fun to be outside and active together, I have noticed that we have the best times when we are outside, the kids are happy so of course the parents are too!

The kids each tried playing, we definetly need to get them their own rackets...soon I hope!

And what is a trip to the park without some swinging. It is the kids favorite, and they have a new love for underdogs, something I loved growing up!

That night we all got dressed up, because we rarely get too, and we went to a "romantic" dinner at Red Robin, definetly the best shakes ever! This is the kids after eating a HUGE dinner!

We had a nice day as a family, something we are enjoying a lot of this days, There are a lot of changes coming for us, and I will post those as soon as they are concrete, but for now we are enjoying spending every day all day together, because we realize what a rare opportunity it is. We send all of our love to family and friends who have kept us in their prayers, and been so kind to us, we are just starting to see a glimpse of what our Heavenly Father has in store for us. We Love you ALL!!!

We're Back!!!

Sorry it has taken me so long to post, every time I have sat down to type my posts have been filled with anger, frustration, fear, and anxiety. I felt guilty unloading that on unsuspecting readers, so I steered clear for a few weeks, I am now back with some happiness to share. We have had a wild ride this year and it is only February. Lightning has struck our family twice, we thought one time was bad luck, but twice bites. We are doing our best to hold it all together, and in this post are pictures of our two greatest supports, there is not time for sadness, or anger when you have two amazing children who need you and are ready to put a big fat smile on your face. So here are a few pictures of what we have been up to....

Some may find this gross, but I had to have a picture. Ayo is the booger bubble master!!! We have been wiping a lot of these lately

Playing at the park as much as possible, especially with Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Alyson!

Most exciting of all Samarrah turned 3. We had a great party in Vegas and a more quiet one at home. She got some great presents (her dads favorite are her Nikes, and the are pink and sparkly PERFECT) It only took me, my mom and Alyson 2 hours to decorate the cake, nut it was lots of fun and well worth it! Samarrah is our star. She is so intelligent, I never thought my 3 year old would be talking back to me, but she definetly does, and sometimes it cracks me up! She is a potty training superstar! She loves all things pink and sparkly! She loves to sing her scripture scout songs (they have the best message and she always seems to know when I need to hear how much Heavenly Father loves me) She loves to say prayers! She is a great big sister. I cannot believe she is three, it seems so old, I am so excited for this next year and what it has in store for her. Here are a few pics from her big day!!!
