Birthday Boy!

A few weeks ago we celebrated the 4th birthday of our beautiful baby boy! He is well aware of the fact that he will always be my baby. It was a fun day! He is the bestest little boy. He is all boy, loves cars, trucks, balls etc. He is the happiest little boy. He is such a peacemaker between him and his sister. He is his sisters biggest fan, he prays for her every night and always includes in his prayers, "Bless that sister is so beautiful" He is a perfect member of our family. We love him so much and are so grateful for his Spirit in our home!
For breakfast he wanted chocolate donuts so that is what we had!

Ayo loves macaroni and cheese, so for his birthday I bought Cars 2 macaroni and cheese, he loved it! and we got to eat it at Grandmas house!

We bought them the funniest suckers with mater teeth. They got a kick out of that!

For dinner he chose fettucini alfredo and chicken. This boy loves Noodles and rice. He can eat his body weight in them!
All Ayo wanted to do for his birthday was go on a bike ride. After Prince came home from work we headed out. This little boy could ride his bike for miles. He LOVES riding his bike!

After the bike ride my family came over to open presents and have cupcakes and ice cream. He needed a little help from Grandpa!

After presents it was time to play! He loves the remote control car Auntie Melany got him and we have read the books Auntie Alyson got him many times. Me and Prince got him lots of Cars stuff and a Toy Story Operation game that I got for 2.00 with coupon and a little kids rocking chair that I got for 3.00 at a garage sale! sshhhh he doesn't know :)

Ayo Iwe cannot believe you are 4. We love you and look forward to many more Birthdays to come!!!!

Daddy's Day

Father's day was great this year. We had a nice relaxing day and went to my parents house for dessert so we could celebrate with my Dad and Hubby. Prince is such a great, fantastic, wonderful, splendiforous daddy. The kids adore him and love when Daddy comes home. They Sang to him in Sacrament with all of the other Primary kids and it was adorable. Prince works so hard for us and we Love him FOREVER!!!!!

On the day before Fathers Day we went on a bike ride with my parents in Boulder City. It was a beautiful day, and eventful trip and really good food. We stopped at a place that was on Diners Drive-ins and Dives. We perused a lot of antique and second hand stores and just pretended to be on vacation for a while! It was a great date!

Lightening McQueen

A few weeks ago I heard the Cars where going to be at Towne Square so me and the kids headed out there. The line was LONG, but they wanted to tough it out so we did. They had lots of water bottles they were handing out to keep us cool. The kids got agent in training bags and temporary tattoos. It was a long time to stand in line but the kids loved seeing the "Real" cars.

After seeing Lightening McQueen we headed off to a church primary activity. The kids had a lot of fun running through the sprinklers and cooling off.

This is Samarrah's best friend at church. They are the same age and the cutest of friends,

Graduation {memorial day weekend}

Samarrah was so excited for her graduation. She told us she learned songs and a skit to perform and she couldn't wait. Go figure she woke up Wednesday morning sick. She did not want to go and didn't even want to get off the couch, but I knew she would be sad if she didn't go. So we got her dressed in the outfit she picked out days earlier and headed off to Graduation. She sat on her Daddy's lap during the singing and skit, but I was so happy that she got up so Mrs. Lesly could giver her her "diploma". She looks better than she feels actually. :)

One of heer teachers Mrs. Liz

Mrs. Lesly was the best preschool teacher. Samarrah loved going every day.

We are so proud of her. She learned so much academically and socially. She is an amazing little girl. Her teachers loved having her in their class, and she loved them. She has really come out of her shell. We could not be more happy with her preschool experience and are excited that she is so excited for Kindergarten! She is also super cute to boot!

We bought her some flowers. She was so excited to have flowers just for her. Her super thoughtful Aunties also brought her flowers too! They got these cute pictures of them in cap and gown with a cute graduation frame. We are so excited for Ayo to go to preschool with Mrs. Lesly next year!

Luckily Samarrah was feeling better the next day! we had a great weekend. Prince did not go to work Friday so it was like a four day weekend. Friday we went out to lunch with some friends who were in town from Alaska. It was so fun seeing them and how much their kids have grown. After that me and the kids went to the park with my mom, sister and their cousins who they don't get to see much, much less go to a park together. It was lot of fun.
On Saturday we went to my parents house for a BBQ and my dad had gotten a slip and slide! The kids had to be pushed down, but they loved it and my sister was the bomb 0n that thing.

Sunday was one of those great days! It was calm and relaxing. There was very little contention from the little ones. We watched movies and played games together! Monday was a blast. Prince had to sign some papers at his office in the morning so me and the kids hit up some Memorial Days sales plus my coupons and I was able to get some things for almost nothing. It was a lot of fun! We surprised the kids with a trip to the movie theatre to see Kung Fu Panda 2. It was really cute and something fun to do as a family! We came home and the kids were exhausted so the laid down in their room to watch a movie and me and Prince we are able to just relax and take mini naps. We met up htat afternoon with my family to play some tennis. It has been a while since we have done this and it was A LOT of fun. we were actually pretty good!

THANK YOU IS NOT ENOUGH TO SAY TO ALL OF THOSE WHO FIGHT FOR OUR FREEDOM! OUR PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU AND YOUR FAMILIES! HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!
