A New Baby!

Of the automobile kind that is :) After totaling his car in February we have now found a new car to fill that void in his ♥ It is a 99 Chrysler Cirrus. We really love it, and are looking forward to having many memories with this car.

I made the kids St. Patricks day outfits. ( I had to, It is an addiction) Samarrah's was made out of an old shirt Alyson had and Ayo's was made out of a mans shirt. I could just eat them up they are so stinkin cute!!!

Supermodels!

I made them there own little pots of gold for St. Pattys. The leprechaun came and left them a trail of glitter leading to their gold, they loved it!

One Monday night we decided to walk to Yogurtland (our most favorite place on earth) it was REALLY REALLY windy and cold so we busted out our hats and scarves and ventured out. We almost got hit twice, IN CROSSWALKS, but we gave those cars the most evil stink eye we could. No wonder nobody walks anywhere anymore, you are taking your life into your hands!

We got quite a bit of rain these past few weeks, and one day my kids decided to go out and actually play in the rain...You might be saying kids do this all the time...not my kids EVER..We were so proud of them getting wet and dirty! It was fantastic.

Superstars and Sorrow

So the day has come, Prince found a man who bought our totaled car. He gave us really good money for it considering the car was totaled in the accident. It was SOOO sad to see it go, that car was a part of the family...it was my husbands baby. So of course in memory of it we had a photo shoot before it was taken away. That photo shoot only includes the back of the car, because that was the pretty part &hearts&hearts&hearts MY hubby is such a stud! ( F.Y.I. that is not a necklace he wears on a daily basis. Samarrah got it for him at the dollar store and it has hung on his rearview mirror for 2 years)

Now onto the superstars. This dress I made for Samarrah out of a Miley Cyrus dress from Walmart. We call it her rockstar dress, so the other day she found some high heels and wanted to do a photoshoot. She doesn't have to ask e twice. The boy was not as thrilled, but he was just as cute. Here are some of our pictures from that day. Man I love these kids more than anything. The are the light in my life.

I love their feet. So stinkin' cute!

Man what a gorgeous group I have got. I love these 3 to death, and luckily forever!

We've been here before :(

Torture

One might think so just by looking at these pictures, but it is actually Samarrah's first haircut. We took her to Ms. Bobbi, the same lady that does all of the girls in my families hair. She would NOT smile at all. She was great and did not cry, but We are all glad the first time is over with. Her hair is so much more manageable now, and beautiful!
Here is her after picture.

Almost never

We have had an unusual amount of rain the past few weeks and we have loved it! The kids had fun going outside with the umbrella. They were not to keen on going outside and getting soaking wet, splashing in puddles and the what not. They have an aversion to that sort of thing. They are just the cutest things ever, Love them to death!

**my pictures are all sideways, I tried to fix them, but I am over it...hope you are too :)**

Birthday Girl!

A few pictures I took of the Princess on her birthday. I cannot believe she is 4. She is so grown up. She is such a great blessing to our family. For her birthday we had a little get together with some of her friends. On her birthday she was not feeling well so we had a Princess marathon and watched, The little Mermaid, Cinderella, the Swan Princess, and Anastasia. It was such a relaxing day, that night we took her to Red Robin and had cake. I made most all of her presents out of Princess and the Frog fabric. I will post those at a later time. We also started a new thing... Even though Prince and I usually talked about what the kids would get on their birthdays, he was usually busy and so I would go buy them. We decided that every birthday he would pick out something special just from him for the kids for their birthdays, so he got Samarrah a cute Princess and the Frog outfit that she wore all day!

Grandma and Grandpa took her to toys r us to pick out a present for her birthday, This is what she came home with, a Cinderella dress complete with jewelry an a purse, she aslo got a little Princess Tiana doll.

We're going back to Cali...

****FYI*****There are many posts with MANY pictures***ENJOY!
the posts go all the way through christmas day!

Our Christmas this year started with a trip to Cali, first to spend some time with my grandparents and then my husbands Cousin. It was an adventure to say the least mixing with all of the California drivers, I felt like I was on a movie set and they were all stunt cars in a car chase except there were no cameras and it was not choreographed! The kids traveled really well and we saw the most beautiful sunset on our way there. The trip was full of great memories...here are a few of them...

Of course while we were there we went to see the lights at the Oakland temple, it is something I have done since I was a little girl, and the Oakland Temple is where my parents were married. The kids love all of the lights, and they were troopers when I wanted to take a lot of pictures even though it was kind of cold. There are a ToN of pictures but I narrowed it down to a few.

The kids loved the fact that taking a walk in Grandmas neighborhood meant being able to walk down the middle of the street. My Grandma has lived in that house for over 50 years, it is the cutest neighborhood with the most adorable one story homes. We also got to spend some time with my Aunt Suzanne and my cousin Kira. The kids loved them! It was fun to see them and hang out.

Besides a slight fear of the cats, (especially when the cat were at eye level) it was the most amazing, relaxing time. My grandparents house is a house you never want to leave. It is so homey and fun and welcoming. Thanks you so much grandma and grandpa we hope to brave the California drivers again and be back soon!

The last half of our trip was spent at Prince's cousins house. Prince's aunt was visiting form Nigeria so it was fun to meet her and spend time with her. Their daughter also had a birthday party while we were there, it was lots of fun to meet some new people and see some we had not seen in a while. It was great to get out just the four of us and have some vacation time together.
