We sat in the poncho section, but were able to avoid the gross stuff.

Prince with his new best friend!

With some of the Christmas money we got we took the kids to Disney on Ice. It was a lot of fun. Samarrah wore her Princess Tiana dress. They are so stinking cute!

This was really cool, it was the brooms from Sorcerers Apprentice with Mickey.

We got to see all of our favorite villains.

Our favorites of course were Tiana!

and Toy Story!

Minus the terrible traffic, the almost car accident, and the swearing seat stealer we had a BLAST. It is something we hope to do with our Christmas money every year, instead of buying things, making memories.

The kids loved that they had enough Christmas money to get shaved ice and they each got a toy. Samarrah said" Mommy it is a real Ariel, she has a belly button and seashell bra." Yes an almost naked Princess, in hindsight not the best example for a little girl, but Samarrah has a great knowledge of modesty, she insists on being modest always.

It was also my Birthday a few days ago. I was so spoiled. We went to my parents for dinner since Prince had to work. I got everything I could ever ask for. My psrents got me a 4 slice toaster, and my favorite Paula Dean bakeware in Aqua! LOVE IT!!!!! My sister Alyson got me the movie Eclipse! It is the first Twilight movie I own so I'll have to get the rest :)
Alyson made me a sewing machine cake!! Isn't she fantastic!
Prince and the kids got me an ice cream maker! I have always wanted one, and It makes fantastic ice cream!! My husband is getting better and better with gift giving!
My bestest gifts!

So Stinking cute!

Now that the fun times of January have come to a close real life begins. Prince has started school again and once again UNLV is doing everything it can to make sure my husband does not succeed. We have decided that we don't care what they throw at us we will not let them put us down, we have come too far, and need this degree. When we left our life of being laid off in St. George and moved here I never expected a cake walk, but this is ridiculous. Through it all we always try to count our blessings. WIth each new brickwall I usually take a few hours to freak out, then I get my head back on straight, luckily my husband is a lot calmer than I am. He is the Rock of our family. We know we were meant to be here in Las VEgas so we know the Lord will help us succeed. We are hoping for an uneventful New Year :)
